Ownership & License
Nexus — together with all associated systems, code, designs, artwork, branding, assets, themes, companion systems, mechanics, interfaces, generated frameworks, and lore — remains the sole intellectual property of the Nexus team.
Your subscription grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the application for personal entertainment purposes only, for as long as your recurring monthly membership remains active and in good standing. You do not purchase and do not own the product, the source code, or any underlying assets — you own the license to use.
No ownership rights are transferred through subscriptions, credit top-ups, offerings, or any other payment.
Membership, Free Tier & Credits
New accounts receive immediate access to all features as part of an active recurring monthly membership. Each membership includes a generous bundle of usage credits per billing period covering chat, voice, image generation and other AI-powered tools.
When included credits are exhausted, you may continue to use the application by purchasing additional credit top-ups. Top-ups are non-refundable, have no cash value, and do not roll over indefinitely.
Cancelling your membership stops future billing. Access ends at the conclusion of the current paid period and any remaining credits are forfeited.
No Refunds — User Accountability
All payments — including monthly membership fees and credit top-ups — are final and non-refundable. By subscribing or purchasing credits you accept full accountability for your use of the service and confirm you understand you are paying for a license to use, not for ownership of the product.
Local-First Data
Companion state, conversations, journals, settings and generated content are stored locally on your own device by default. Optional cloud sync may be used for account, billing and safety records. Clearing your browser storage or uninstalling the app will erase local data permanently — no backup is guaranteed.
The Nexus team reserves the right to:
- modify features
- suspend services
- revoke access
- terminate accounts
- change pricing
- discontinue systems
- reset features
- remove content
- update policies
at any time, with or without notice.
No Guarantee
The application is provided "as is" and "as available." No guarantees are made regarding uptime, stability, permanent access, feature availability, data retention, compatibility, emotional outcomes, or AI accuracy.
Limitation of Liability
The creator accepts no responsibility for:
- user misuse
- emotional reliance
- generated content
- outages
- data loss
- damages
- interpretation of AI output
- third-party integrations
Users assume all responsibility for their use of the application.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not use the application for:
- illegal activity
- harassment
- exploitation
- impersonation
- hate speech
- abuse
- manipulation
- fraud
- stalking
- violent extremism
- unlawful content generation
Reverse engineering, scraping, cloning, resale, redistribution, or unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
Age Requirement
Users must be 18 years or older to access the platform. Use of the application by minors is prohibited.
Zero-Tolerance Illegal Content
Nexus has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, sexual content involving minors, human trafficking, bestiality, sexual violence, credible violent threats, terrorism, or other unlawful abuse content. Attempts to request, generate, upload, solicit, trade, describe, roleplay, or bypass safeguards for such content may result in immediate account restriction, termination, preservation of relevant safety records, and disclosure to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law. For severe violations, deletion requests cannot remove records preserved for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or abuse-investigation purposes.
